Mystic Lake

Last week Brian and I took the boys on their first real hike up to Mystic Lake. It is a 3 mile hike up the mountain and the last 1/2 mile or so is pretty steep and rocky, but the boys did awesome. They each hide a pack with some water and a change of clothes and I packed our lunch and some necessities while Brian had Logan in the backpack. The boys were so excited when we finally reached the lake and it was really beautiful. We ate lunch and played around for a while then headed back down the mountain. We were all exhausted when we got home but had a great time. I was so impressed with Dylan and Colton to make it all 6 miles on their own with no complaints, and Logan was such a trooper in his pack the whole way. Good job boys!
