Happy 8th Birthday Dylan!!

Dylan turned 8 yesterday and we had a great day celebrating. He got to open some gifts from us after his favorite breakfast. I took them to school which was a treat since they usually ride the bus. Logan and I went back to the school and had lunch with Dylan and Colton and got to play at recess with them which was fun. Dylan had 8 friends that rode the bus home with him and they had a great party for a couple of hours. We then had our family over for dinner and more partying. After all was done, Logan and Brian went to bed. But, I have a tradition of letting the boys stay up as late as they want on their birthdays, so Dylan and Colton and I camped out in the living room watching Dukes of Hazzard until about 1:00. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful young man. Happy birthday bud we love you!

Easter 09

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We spent Saturday evening at Brian's parents' house with some of his aunts, uncles and cousins and his grandparents. We had a great time visiting and the kids had fun playing, hunting eggs, roping and eating as much candy as they could sneak past the parents! That night we came home and colored eggs.
Sunday morning we went to church and then came home to find eggs and eat more candy! The boys were pretty funny finding eggs because Dylan and Colton started with the plan that they would let Logan find all the low eggs, but once they started that plan flew out the window and it was every little man for himself. After a quick much needed nap we headed over to Holly and Travis' for a great dinner with my parents and Travis' parents joining us all. The boys got to find more eggs and many of them had special treats in them. And of course they ate even more candy! After dinner Travis took the boys for a walk up on the butte behind their house. The boys were so excited to hike so high up. When they returned Holly initiated them in to an old family game of ooga booga. I'd love to say what this is but for those of you who have never played it would just ruin the suprise if you do get a chance some day! :)

We are so blessed to spend the weekend with our family and friends celebrating the risen Christ!
