Christmas Program

Dylan and Colton had their school Christmas program last night and it was really good. I love watching all the excitement of the kids as they sing and dance and wave to their parents. There were some kids that weren't happy to be there, some that were singing their hearts out, some that fell over, and even one that lost his shoe, so it was a very entertaining night. Dylan likes to sing, but not do the actions so much when everyone is watching. Colton on the other hand just has so much fun performing for everyone with a great big smile on his face. They both were so handsome and did a great job. We love you boys.........awesome concert!

Broncos 24 - Chiefs 17 WOO HOO

Last weekend Brian and I along with Holly and Travis took a road trip to Denver. I have never left the kids for more than one night so it was a little hard to go, but we had a great time. We left Friday morning and got to Denver about 7 that night. We stayed at the hotel by the stadium so each morning I woke up to the Mile High in my window....so nice! We went shopping in the Broncos store and after a good hour and several $$ later we headed downtown. That evening we took in the parade of lights. I must say after walking around those streets I do love my little house in the mountains.
So on Sunday we headed down to the stadium and checked out all the great Bronco buses, cars and so on. I got some great ideas for my next car!! Holly and I went into the Bronco barn and got the cheerleaders autographs for Brian and Travis. Then we got pictures with David Tredwell and Tyrone Braxton, two players from when we were growing up. The game was great, close but the Broncos pulled it off and won!!

A Hunting We Will Go.....

Brian and the boys have spent a lot of time hunting this season. And last Saturday he snuck out alone and ended up getting the biggest elk I think I've ever seen up here. He had to leave it and recruit help to go in with horses and pack it out. I think all the boys, big and small had a great time with it. Good job Brian, you earned that beast! (sorry to anyone squemish...these pictures may be a little graphic)

Suprise Birthday Party

So, I hit the big 30 this month, and had a nice quiet birthday at home. Then a week later was suprised by Brian and his cohorts with a big party. Darlene took me to Billings for a shopping trip and lunch and I came home to a huge bash in our shop. I was suspicious of something going on for a couple of weeks before this, but when it was after 5 and we were still in Billings just aimlessly shopping I was sure there was nothing going on. So, when we pulled in I had no idea whatsoever. Brian really planned a great party, complete with a dj setup and some karoke. They made a great lasagna feast and had decorated the place with balloons, flowers and mom put together a great picture display around the room. Thanks to all of you who came and who helped my sneaky husband pull this off. I had a great time and love you all.
everyone waiting for me to show (apparently I was late....go figure!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN!!

Yesterday we celebrated Logan's 2nd birthday. I cannot believe he is so big already. He started his day with his brothers making him pancakes and serving them to him in bed before they left for school. We picked Colton up from kindergarten and then ate lunch at school with Dylan so we could all be together. After dinner we had a nice party with family and friends. I went with a construction theme for his birthday because he is very into dump trucks, skidsteers and backhoes lately. After some games, pinata, cake and presents he was still going strong. We put Dylan and Colton to bed since they had to be up the next day for school and then we just played with Logan for a while. Brian finally went to bed around 10:30 and Logan and I snuggled up together on the chair and watched a cartoon until we both were falling asleep. It was a great day and we are just so blessed to have this little boy in our lives. Happy Birthday Logan!

These are the portraits that I took of Logan last week. He was so easy to take pictures of this time. He would sit just how I said and smiled or not when I said. Such a poser!

Now I lay me down to sleep........
I made a skidsteer cake loading some gravel.....kinda hard to tell from the picture though. Yesterday afternoon Logan climbed on the stool and peeked into the box while I was downstairs. Well he decided since it was his cake he should try it out....so I got to fix it before the party. That is the second time one of my boys has gotten into a cake early. Think I'll have to start putting them out of sight!
Logan was singing happy birthday to himself along with everyone else....very cute!

Here is a video of Logan dancing and playing his guitar. This morning he was playing it and singing to me and I have to say it was pretty funny!
