Happy Birthday Grandma Sherry

Last weekend we had a sledding party to celebrate my mom's birthday. The temperature was creeping up so Brian plowed what was left of the snow into one long sledding lane. It was a beautiful afternoon spent with family so I just thought I'd share some pictures.

February went by too fast!!

Ok so we are already into March and I didn't get much of February posted so I'll do it all in one shot here. We had a very busy month spending alot of family time together and just having fun. The boys are growing up so fast so I just don't want to miss a minute of it. I have recently been converting all our home videos onto dvd and it's been really crazy to see my babies when they were still babies again. They have been getting a kick out of watching themselves growing up too. Time really flies doesn't it?!!

Here's the boys on Valentine's Day morning with huge Hersheys kisses. They got little suprises all day long. Nothing like starting out the day with a giant chunk of chocolate right!

I got to take Dylan and Colton out for a date night with mom and we went to the NRA rodeo finals. After the rodeo was a Josh Gracin concert. The boys had never been to a concert before and they like Josh Gracin and of course rodeo so it was a great combo. We had a fun night while dad and Logan stayed home and checked the calves that are calving.

Here we are after the rodeo, waiting for the concert to start.
And finally he comes out on stage. We had really good seats for the concert.

Dylan and Colton share a room and have been planning with dad to make a log bunk bed for quite some time. They finally got it done...start to finish in about a week. It turned out really awesome. They have decided to switch beds each month so they get a fair turn sleeping on the top. Logan wanted in on this new deal too so Brian made a headboard for his bed and we finally put it up on the frame instead of just lower on the floor. He was pretty excited to have a tall bed and he puts his stuffed animal in a sleeping bag beside the bed so they are in the bottom bunk and he has the top. It is pretty cute. Anyways, here is the finished bunk bed. Good job dad!! Dad and Logan getting ready to go out and feed the cows, horses, etc. It is the highlight of Logan's day to do the chores with dad. We got about 10 inches of snow last week so they had to bundle up good.

The boys built this great snowman completely on their own. I think it is the first one they did alone that turned out looking like a real snowman!
We got in some good sledding a couple of times this weekend before the snow melted away. We went up on the hill behind our house and also just pulled the boys around the hayfield with the 4-wheelers.
Here is Colton hanging on before he would try to tip over on the corners.

Here is Logan...yes he is in there somewhere. This was the first time sledding that he really had a blast the whole time and didn't want to go in after a few runs. He would get rolled of the sled and take off running to get back on again while laughing his little head off.

Dylan taking a turn. He and Colton both were really into the big jumps, like hitting the ditch and going airborn.

Here's all my boys ready to race each other.
