Happy Birthday Colton!

Sunday was Colton's 6th birthday. We had a great day, first going to church, then his party. He had several friends from school and lots of family that came. It was a beautiful day and the kids had fun playing outside for several hours. We had an awesome suprise when Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Darlene, Brayden and Chase showed up. They drove almost 4 hours to be here and Colton was shocked and thrilled. After some pizza for dinner we put Logan down to bed and then kept up our tradition of staying up late and watching movies. I was suprised when Colton and then Dylan fell asleep just after 11:00.....guess they wore themselves out during the day. It was a great day......a wonderful father's day too. Thanks to everyone who came to the party. Colton had a very special birthday! Love you Colty!

Colton's 6 year old pictures

I took Colton's 6 year old pics yesterday and am still finding it hard to believe he will be 6 on Sunday. He is such a blessing and you can tell by his expressions in some of these pictures that he keeps us busy.

Idaho and Logan....1480 miles in 5 days with 3 kids

On Friday the boys, Aunt Holly and I left for my great grandfathers memorial service. He was 101 years old when he passed away and was such a blessing to our lives. The service was in Bruneau, ID and then we stayed the night at my grandfather's house in Boise. We had a good visit with grandad, and Holly and I even got to go to some garage sales with him. He is the king of garage sales and we had a special time with him. That afternoon we left for Logan, UT to visit my brother Dustin and his family. It was great seeing them and the kids that have grown so much. My boys had a blast with their cousins. We headed home Tuesday. On Wednesday morning we stopped in Big Sky to visit with Jeremy and Darlene and check out their new ranch. It was a great visit with all the family, much too short though. Thanks so much to Aunt Holly for putting up with the joys of traveling so far in so few days with 3 energetic boys.

Track Day

Dylan and Colton had their track day last week and it was a beautiful day. They both did great in all the events and most importantly had a great day. The following day was the last day of school, so it was a good way to end the school year. I just love watching the kids working their hardest to do well and then seeing the smiles on their faces as everyone cheers them on.
