We have been keeping busy with our usual spring activities, so I thought I would just post some of them in one jumble. Last weekend we helped my dad brand his calves. Everything went well and as always the boys had fun. It was Logan's first time to really see a branding, since he mostly slept through them last year. The boys each tried to rope a calf, and they wrestled some. Dylan learned how to give shots this year and he also rode a calf.

After the branding, we had a birthday dinner at my Grandma Susan's house for my dad and my grandpa. Grandpa Herb turned 85 and my dad turned 57. I made a Bronco cake for dad because he is the man who hooked me onto Denver Broncos Football so long ago!

Logan is now 18 months old so I took his pictures last week. He is just getting so fun. He repeats some of the funniest stuff now and really watches his older brothers to immitate them. He had his checkup last week and is healthy as can be. He is on the short side though....who could've seen that coming huh!

On Friday it snowed/rained all day and finally started to stick to the ground that night. We woke up to 8 inches of snow. It was all melted by the time we got home from the auction though. I managed to take a couple of pictures before we left. It looked so beautiful. Brian got a picture of these elk when he went out to feed cows in one of our pastures.
